Getty Images Save Story Save this story Save Story Save this story Nicole Kidman , can you see the red carpet at the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles? I'm only asking because the star's curtain bangs are so long, they're practically obscuring her vision! (In a chic, bombshell way, of course.)

Kidman, who appeared in and produced the Emmy-nominated series Margot's Got Money Troubles, hit the red carpet wearing some seriously major bangs with her off-the-shoulder, feathered white dress. Her strawberry blonde hair was pulled loosely up and back so the bangs could play the starring role of her hairstyle, and they definitely earned that moment in the spotlight!

As a classic pair of curtain bangs are wont to do, they split in the center to let a bit of her forehead peek through, with even portions of hair on either side. One side was brushed to partially fall over one eye for that ever-glamorous peekaboo effect. The rest of her Emmys look was soft and sweet, with delicate pink shades on her cheeks and lips and a few strokes of liner and mascara to define her blue eyes. Everything about her Emmys look feels playful: a white sheath dress with a cheeky ruffled shoulder, an updo that isn't one bit stuffy, and bangs that fall where they want to in just the exact right spot. Can you give out an Emmy Award for Best Bangs on the Red Carpet? If you could, Kidman would be a shoo-in.

Getty Images Now, Kidman often has bangs, and she wears them all sorts of ways: long and brow-brushing, full and fluffy, wispy, even a subtle tribute to mall bangs . But there's something about a set of curtain bangs that feels so “movie star magic" on the red carpet. They're flirty, charming, romantic, and most of all—fun! Oh, and now I want to cut curtain bangs too.
