Among the best beauty looks Bazaar editors were eyeing at the 2026 Emmy Awards, Selena Gomez’s effortlessly understated soft glam was one of our favorites. The star paired a gilded Louis Vuitton gown with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, rosy makeup , and cascading, mid-back waves to celebrate television’s biggest night, along with one understated yet highly impactful beauty detail: an ombré “Sunset Frost” manicure.

Crafted by the star’s longtime nail artist , Tom Bachik, the warm metallic design not only complemented Gomez’s award-worthy outfit, but also serves as inspiration for the perfect summer-to-fall transitional manicure. “The inspiration was her Louis Vuitton gown—we loved the whole look,” explains Bachik in a statement. “It was like frosted gold, so I wanted that same effect on the nail, a frosted metallic, subtle but special.”

After shaping Gomez’s rounded almond nails with his signature Tweezerman x Tom Bachik Ultimate Nail Care Set, the artist applied two coats of Essie’s diamond-dust-infused iridescent polish, Frost Yourself , then completed the look with the Gel by essie Shiny Top Coat for a high-shine finish. And to keep her nail beds in tip-top shape all evening, Bachik used Essie’s On a Roll Apricot Cuticle Oil for even more glow.
