An immortal being spends centuries discovering what it means to be human in Yoshitoki Ōima’s ( A Silent Voice ) shonen gem To Your Eternity . Fushi, a distinctly Frieren-like protagonist, begins as a mysterious white orb and gradually assumes the forms of different living things, including a white wolf. After a lonely child mistakes that wolf form for his missing pet, the two share a precious stretch of time before unimaginable tragedy strikes.
