The couple stepped out together at the BFI London Film Festival premiere of Cole’s latest film, In the Shadows , with Pugh taking a break from promoting East of Eden to support her boyfriend. And while they didn’t exactly opt for matchy-matchy dressing, their respective looks spoke to a quietly complementary approach to couple style.
Pugh, who has been delighting in a particularly romantic streak of red-carpet dressing of late, wore a gown from Wiederhoeft’s spring 2027 collection , styled by longtime collaborator Rebecca Corbin-Murray. She accessorized with silver Aquazzura sandals, a Bulgari Wild Pop necklace and high-jewelry earrings, and a constellation of delicate diamond piercings by Maria Tash. Hair by Hyungsun Ju (replete with bow-like half-up half-down style), shimmering makeup by Celia Burton , and nails by nail artist Dawn Sterling (A.K.A. Nailglam ) completed the look sweet and sensual look.

There have been diaphanous silhouettes, sculptural bodices, and romantic flourishes courtesy of Rodarte, Patrick McDowell , and Vivienne Westwood , often tempered by the slightly rebellious beauty choices that have become something of her signature.
Cole, meanwhile, stayed firmly within his own sartorial wheelhouse: dark-toned tailoring with sharp lapels and considered accessories. Working with stylist Tom O’Dell, the actor opted for a lightweight chocolate-brown double-breasted suit by Brioni, worn with a striped cotton shirt and brown wool-and-silk tie from the Italian house. A Cartier watch, silver tie clip from his own collection, and Grenson tassel loafers worn with white socks finished the look.
Together, the effect was cohesive without being coordinated. Where Florence Pugh gravitated toward romance and embellishment, Finn Cole favored the clean lines and classic codes of menswear. It reflects two distinct approaches to red carpet dressing, but a pretty convincing fashion partnership nonetheless. More to come, we hope!
