In news that isn’t exactly shocking… Calvin Klein announced the exit of Creative Director Veronica Leoni today. Leoni took on the role in May 2024 with her first collection at NYFW in February 2025.
Calvin Klein’s global brand president, David Savman, announced Leoni’s departure in a statement. “I want to thank Veronica for her creative vision, commitment, and partnership over the past two years,” he said. “Reintroducing Collection was a significant milestone for Calvin Klein, and Veronica’s exceptional talent and fresh perspective on Calvin’s iconic design codes helped build meaningful momentum for Collection. Collection remains an important part of our brand; we are excited by the progress to date and look forward to its continued evolution.”
Leoni had been tasked with reimagining Calvin Klein’s runway line after the collection went on hiatus following Raf Simons’ 2018 departure from the brand. Leoni spent four seasons with the brand, and her successor has yet to be named.
Meanwhile, Seán McGirr is leaving his role as Creative Director of Alexander McQueen after just three years at the helm. Kering CEO Luca de Meo said in a statement: “I would like to thank Seán for his contribution and dedication to Alexander McQueen. Our ambition is to establish a bold new direction for the house, building on its unique heritage of exceptional tailoring, uncompromising creativity and rebellion to reaffirm its position as one of the most innovative and culturally relevant voices in luxury.”
