Anyone heading to Las Vegas just got a little extra lucky! The Corner Store, the Soho sensation from Tilman Fertitta, Eugene Remm, and the Catch Hospitality Group team is heading to the Strip at The Cosmopolitan. Under the leadership of Chef Michael Vignola and in collaboration with The Corner Store Las Vegas Executive Chef Daniel Bernardo, the menu looks to include the same staples that have made their New York location one of the most coveted reservations in Manhattan. Signature offerings include Lobster and Caviar Rolls, Five Cheese Pizza Rolls, The Corner Store Caesar, and my personal favorite, The Wagyu French Dip.
As for beverages, their martini remains at the core of their libations with the occasional Vegas twist. Led by Lucas Robinson, Catch Hospitality Group Beverage Director, in partnership with The Cosmopolitan’s Head of Mixology Gedeon Tsegaye, the menu will include the Tomato Martini and Sour Cream Onion Martini, alongside new creations exclusive to Sin City, including a Vegas-inspired take on Oli’s Dirty Martini served with a trio of mascarpone caviar olives. The beverage menu will also feature The Corner Store’s signature Martini Service, a large-format pour designed to serve two to three guests, alongside a thoughtful wine list curated by Catch Hospitality Group Wine Director Emily Buse, recognized by Wine Spectator as one of the top 50 sommeliers in the U.S., and Master Sommelier and Executive Director of Wine for MGM Resorts Douglas Kim.
The new spot has been designed by Rockwell Group, who are behind the chic look of the Soho location. Elevated on the resort’s third floor rather than tucked along a traditional streetscape, the restaurant reveals itself through an intimate storefront designed to capture the intrigue of a hidden New York corner store. Wood-framed doors and tinted fluted glass anchor a dramatic façade layered with amber drapery, illuminated stained-glass artwork and Art Deco-inspired accents. Inside guests will find tailored banquettes, herringbone wood floors, arched architectural details and a curated gallery of New York City photography.
Building on the phenomenal success of The Corner Store, The Eighty Six and Or’esh, CHG has continued to expand its standalone portfolio in New York City with the introduction of Cafe Charmant, a coastal take on the classic French brasserie in the West Village and one of the hottest reservations in town. The group is also preparing to bring a new concept at 9 West 57th Street in 2027. Foodies should also check out Catch in the Meatpacking, which has been redone and is better than ever.
The Corner Store Las Vegas will welcome guests seven nights a week starting on November 9th. Reservations are now available via The Cosmopolitan online or by calling (702) 675-9828. It lives up to the hype.
