Spanish off-road EV firm Stark Future have launched a pair of EX and MX Factory Editions featuring a range of high-end components curated by the firm’s racing director and former two-time motocross world champion, Sébastien Tortelli.
“With the Factory Editions, the focus was to give riders more grip, more precision, and more confidence to unlock more of that performance,” he said. “These are built exactly how I would build my own.”
The £13,990 MX motocross variant will be limited to 200 units worldwide, with the £14,990 EX enduro model available in a batch of 300 machines globally.
Both are designed to silently shoot across the trails on hefty doses of instant torque and have been equipped with adjustable Kashima-coated KYB Factory A-Kit suspension with 48mm closed cartridge upside down forks, and a mono shock.
Up front, the red MX gets a lengthy 310mm of front travel, with the grey EX getting 300mm of movement. Both are set-up for their intended disciplines, with each providing 303mm of bounce at the back end.
Providing the power to both bikes is a 7.2 kWh, 420 V battery, promising a two hour recharge time at 240 volts – with the motors producing a claimed 78.9bhp.
Away from the performance, the special editions are further separated by a range of lightweight components including numbered CNC-machined triple clamps, 3D printed titanium footpegs to save a claimed 140g, and a titanium bolt kit – said to shave a further 900g from the overall mass.
