To no one's surprise, Avengers: Doomsday took center stage at this year's panel, but there were some other surprises too.
If you weren't able to attend the panel live and have been staying off social media, you probably have no idea what Marvel revealed. To help, we've rounded up all the important announcements from this year's Marvel Studios presentation in one place for you.
Marvel will bring Avengers: Endgame back to theaters on Sept. 25, as Avengers: Endgame Encore . In addition to some added scenes, this re-release will also feature some sort of exclusive look at Doomsday months ahead of its theatrical debut.
Ryan Gosling appeared at the panel to confirm that he's going to be the MCU's Ghost Rider. The character is getting a stand-alone movie directed by Deadpool & Wolverine's Shawn Levy in 2028.
Peggy Carter in a red hat in Agent Carter While the latest trailer for Avengers: Doomsday touted an impressively large cast, Marvel Studios teased how it's even bigger. Hayley Atwell was confirmed to be reprising the role of Peggy Carter, which shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. Ryan Reynolds also appeared at the panel in full Deadpool cosplay — this time sporting his grey X-Force costume — but it's unconfirmed if he's officially appearing in Doomsday .
Exclusively for those at Comic-Con, Marvel showed some footage from Avengers: Doomsday . According to online accounts, it confirms that there is a strong connection between the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom in the MCU, which some doubted would be the case. While that clip hasn't been released publicly, Marvel did share a cool new poster with Doctor Doom on X, which you can see above.
After years of teases in interviews, Marvel Studios and Ryan Coogler confirmed that Black Panther 3 is entering production. While plot details are scarce, we know that there will be a new Black Panther: David Jonsson (Alien: Romulus, The Long Walk) will play the son of T'Challa and will be a major part of the movie along with Shuri.
Black Panther 3 will be released in theaters on Dec. 15, 2028.
