During Thursday night’s D&D Vision Keynote 2027 panel hosted by Baldur’s Gate 3 ’s Theo Solomon, D&D designers and leadership talked about new releases for the game, including updates on new books, digital tools, video games, and collaborations for the next year and more.

Some announcements fill gaps in D&D’s previously announced lineup, including a renewed commitment to publishing full-length adventures. Wizards will enlist prominent third-party publishers to make official D&D books.

“Players shouldn’t have to wait decades before we go back to an Eberron or a Ravenloft or a Dark Sun,” executive producer Greg Bilsland said. “We should be making it easier for everybody to run adventures.”

The first of these partnerships will produce an official Ravenloft book from Ghostfire Gaming in 2027 that incorporates the Domains of Dread recently featured in Ravenloft: The Horrors Within . An E…
