Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East appoints Vera Wessolek as Director of Marketing

Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East has appointed Vera Wessolek as Director of Marketing, Distribution Network and Online-to-Offline for Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East and the global Mercedes-Benz General Distributor network .

The appointment comes as Mercedes-Benz marks 140 Years of Innovation and prepares for its most intensive period of product launches across 2026 and 2027.

Wessolek brings nearly a decade of experience at Mercedes-Benz AG, spanning digital transformation, customer experience, retail development, marketing and future mobility.

Most recently, as Head of Customer Services Digital Transformation for Region Overseas, she led the successful launch of ATC digital stores across 18 markets, including Australia, South Korea, Germany and Austria, and contributed to positive results with a year-on-year increase for Digital Extras.

She also spearheaded cultural and digital transformation initiatives across 18 countries, guiding a network of transformation ambassadors to accelerate change across international markets.

With her passion for innovation and execution strength, she is the ideal candidate to lead Marketing, Distribution Network and Online-to-Offline across more than 100 markets”

In her new role, Wessolek will bring together Marketing, Distribution Network Development and the Online-to-Offline customer journey across the Mercedes-Benz General Distributor network.

She will focus on creating seamless, data-driven and emotionally engaging customer experiences while strengthening collaboration, localization and best-practice sharing across more than 100 markets spanning the Middle East, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia.

Sharing her thoughts on the new role, Wessolek said, “The General Distributor network is one of Mercedes-Benz’s greatest strengths, a diverse, far-reaching community of markets that is united by a shared ambition to deliver the best of the brand to customers wherever they are.”
