In a sea of drab print publications covering the same six celebrities and increasingly sacrificing voice in an attempt to increase readership, Town & Country goes their own way and has been for a while now. Their coverage is niche and distinct and that is exactly what makes it so compelling. And what makes their latest crop of covers so delightful.
There are four covers in total: Martha Stewart and New York Knicks Star Karl-Anthony Towns , Anna Sui and Chase Sui Wonders , Cornelia Guest and Ivy Getty , and Taylor Sheridan and his horse.
It’s a eclectic lineup that perfectly encapsulates the diversity, specificity, and sense of play that make Town & Country such a compelling media property (and such a fun read).
Check out some of our favorite quotes from issue’s various cover stories below.
Martha Stewart on seeing the AI revolution coming : I was a very big fan of science fiction and if you read all the science fiction that I read, you would absolutely have known.

Karl-Anthony Towns on making time to recharge after his big year : There was the wedding to model, designer, and courtside fixture Jordyn Woods (her ever-present Woods by Jordyn orange bag was exhibited at the Guggenheim). Before that, of course, was the basketball season that changed New York and inspired euphoria like we haven’t seen in 53 years. Next year he’ll be back for more, but for now it’s time to rest. “I like a great vacation,” he says. He certainly deserves one.

Stewart and Towns on the fanciest things about them: Martha Stewart : My beautiful hair and skin. I don’t mean to sound vain, but it does make a difference. It’s what people remember. Karl-Anthony Towns : I’ve been on some crazy, over-the-top trips.
On their cheap guilty pleasures: Martha Stewart : Watching really good movies on my iPad in bed. Karl-Anthony Towns : Sports cards. I’ve been collecting since high school.
On their go-to neighborhood joints (and orders): Martha Stewart : In New York it has forever been Elio’s; I’ve been going since the ’80s. Karl-Anthony Towns : I love a diner. I judge them by their chicken noodle soup.

On his early years in LA : “I was homeless twice,” he says. Each time he dealt with it by venturing away from the city to wide open spaces. “I lived in my car. Sometimes I’d go to Ojai, just somewhere where I could safely sleep. I did that for six months.” Sheridan, now 57, blames no one but himself for those struggles. “I could have decided at any point, ‘I’m going to go get a full-time job and I’m going to give up this dream,’” he says. “And I chose to sleep in my car over that.”
