Fred Dixon is leaving the nation’s destination marketing organization to rejoin NYC Tourism + Conventions as CEO and president.
Brand USA and NYC Tourism confirmed the move Wednesday afternoon, following reporting from Skift on Tuesday that Dixon was in advanced talks for the role. Dixon’s departure is effective November 13, and he will join NYC Tourism on December 1. Brand USA said a search for his successor is “already in development.”
