Kawasaki look set to reveal a new supercharged sports model for 2027 – revealing a short teaser on social media featuring audio of a high-revving four-cylinder engine accompanied by the chirp of a supercharger.
There are no visuals to accompany the sound, barring a small statement that simply says ‘Return to Beyond Belief’ – itself a play on the ‘Built Beyond Belief’ messaging used by Kawasaki ahead of the original Ninja H2 and H2R reveals back in late 2014.

The combination of the wording and aggressive nature in which the engine is being revved would suggest that the bike being teased here is a new version of the Ninja H2 – a bike not seen in the UK range since the introduction of Euro5 emissions regulations in 2021, however remains available in other markets.
The notion that the mystery model is a sports-orientated machine is further evidence by the fact that Kawasaki UK have this week confirmed a £20,049 Z H2 SE supercharged super-naked for 2027, with limited numbers arriving in UK dealers from December 2026.
First arriving in 2015, before receiving fresh mapping and an Öhlins rear shock for 2017, the Ninja H2 was unlike any other sportsbike on the market.
It gained its last major refresh for 2019 – making use of new Brembo Stylema calipers, newer Bridgestone Battlax RS11 tyres, and producing a claimed 228bhp to become the most powerful mass-production road bike ever made.
Whether a new model ditches the old machine’s stretched-out hyperbike stance in favour of a more agile, traditional sportsbike look remains to be seen – with the previous incarnation tipping the scales at a hefty 238kg.
It’s also unclear whether the machine will run under the Kawasaki or Bimota banner, with a partnership between the two brands established in 2019 now spawning a number of high-end, high-performance models powered by Japanese engine hardware and electronics, combined with radical Italian chassis work and styling.
Although it’s unclear exactly what Kawasaki have up their sleeves, another exciting supercharged offering is always welcome! Here’s hoping its something properly sporty to complement their super-naked and sports touring packages.
