Saatchi & Saatchi and Purple Brain take home Gerety Awards 2026 wins

Saatchi & Saatchi Middle East & Africa has picked up a Gold at the 2026 Gerety Awards for LumpDolls, with the Carrefour Tunisia campaign among two wins for the region at this year’s awards.

LumpDolls, created by Publicis Impact and Saatchi & Saatchi MEA for Carrefour Tunisia, was awarded Gold in the Health CUT (Strategy).

The campaign turns Tunisia’s traditional Sejnane clay dolls into a tool for breast cancer awareness, using the dolls to demonstrate how women can carry out self-examinations. The work has also been recognised at other awards including a Cannes Lions and a D&AD shortlist

The second regional win went to Purple Brain, which picked up a Bronze in the Craft CUT (Visual Effects) for A Vision, Inherited, created for Saudi Vision 2030 by agency Them Again.

Together, the two campaigns represent the only wins from the Middle East and Africa at the 2026 Gerety Awards.

This year’s awards saw more than 250 judges from over 50 countries assess work across advertising, marketing, production, design and media. The winners included four Grand Prix, 34 Golds, 69 Silvers and 75 Bronzes, with Tunisia receiving its first-ever Gerety Award through LumpDolls.

Three campaigns were selected for Grand Prix recognition, with The KitKat Heist for KitKat by VML UK taking two.

The other two campaigns were No Project Without Drama for HORNBACH by HeimatTBWA\ Berlin, which won the Grand Prix in the Craft CUT-Production Design and The Count for SickKids by Soundtree Music for FCB Canada, which took the Craft CUT-Music Grand Prix.

The KitKat Heist won Grand Prix in both the Communication CUT-PR and the new Moments CUT-PR category.

Highlighting the campaign’s ability to turn a brand challenge into a wider cultural moment the jury said:

“In a year where everyone is chasing attention, the work that stood out was work that earned it rather than demanded it,” said Dipshika Ravi, National Creative Director, Schbang, India.

Maria Milusheva, CCO, OM Group & MUCH BETTER, Bulgaria, said the campaign demonstrated that “AI can manufacture content, but it cannot manufacture attention”, while Imen Gharbi, Managing Director, Doze Agency, Tunisia, pointed to the craft, cultural understanding and precision behind this year’s winning work.

Alejandra Fehrmann, Global Communications Executive, said the winners demonstrated that “creativity has no single accent, market or formula”, while Christen Rochon, Ad Partnerships Director at NBCUniversal, said the strongest Grand Prix work creates an impact that extends beyond the immediate campaign.

The full list of 2026 winners is available on the Gerety Awards website.
