Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose of the Policy
This Policy is intended to define the standards of acceptable and unacceptable conduct and use within Syno Hub, and to set out the Platform's administrative powers of monitoring, restriction, deletion, removal, suspension, termination, and taking any actions it deems appropriate to protect the Platform, its Users, and its interests. Use of the Platform constitutes the User's express agreement to comply with this Policy in addition to the Terms & Conditions and any other policies, instructions, or controls issued by the Platform from time to time.
2. Permitted Use
The Platform may only be used for lawful purposes related to Syno Hub's services, including: - Creating accurate professional or commercial profiles. - Exploring collaboration opportunities and communicating in relation thereto. - Displaying works, services, and skills in a lawful and professional manner. - Managing subscriptions, opportunities, and campaigns within the limits permitted by the Platform. - Using the Platform's tools in accordance with their intended functions and purposes.
3. Prohibited Uses
3.1 Violations Relating to Identity and Data
- Impersonating any person or entity. - Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information. - Creating fake or multiple accounts for purposes of fraud, manipulation, or circumvention of Platform systems. - Using names, marks, or descriptions that falsely suggest affiliation with any official entity, commercial entity, or the Platform.
3.2 Content-Related Violations
- Publishing, uploading, or sending any unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or inciting content. - Publishing content that infringes intellectual property rights, privacy rights, confidentiality, image rights, or any other third-party rights. - Publishing obscene, indecent, or immoral content. - Publishing content involving hate speech, discrimination, incitement, or abuse on the basis of race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, or any protected characteristic. - Publishing, promoting, or marketing any content, service, or product prohibited by law or regulation. - Including false, exaggerated, or misleading performance indicators, prices, works, data, or collaborations. - Publishing sponsored, advertising, or promotional content without disclosure where such disclosure is required by law, regulations, professional standards, or Platform policies.
3.3 Technical Violations
- Attempting to hack the Platform, bypass protective measures, or gain unauthorized access. - Using bots, scripts, automation tools, scraping tools, or unauthorized aggregation tools. - Interfering with the integrity, operation, performance, or technical infrastructure of the Platform. - Uploading viruses, malicious software, or harmful instructions. - Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code, databases, or operational logic.
3.4 Commercial Misuse of the Platform
- Exploiting Platform or User data for database harvesting, resale, or unauthorized brokerage. - Sending spam, unsolicited bulk communications, advertising flooding, fraud, phishing, or misleading communications. - Using the Platform outside its intended scope or in a manner harmful to fair competition or to the Platform's interests. - Circumventing subscription systems, fees, access privileges, or visibility benefits. - Using the Platform to access Users, opportunities, or campaigns and then bypassing or undermining the Platform's operational or commercial model.
3.5 Professional and Behavioral Violations
- Harassment, threats, blackmail, abuse, or intimidation. - Requesting or offering unlawful, unprofessional, or public-order-violating terms. - Misusing messaging tools, requests, or campaigns. - Acting in a manner that may damage the reputation of the Platform, its Users, its partners, or its service providers.
4. Platform's Right of Monitoring and Removal
Syno Hub reserves, at any time and without prior notice, the full right to: - Review any account, content, campaign, opportunity, message, interaction, or file. - Refuse, delete, remove, amend, conceal, or disable any material, data, or activity. - Suspend, restrict, or terminate any account, subscription, or permission. - Prevent access temporarily or permanently. - Take any preventive, precautionary, or final measures it deems appropriate. The Platform may take such measures based on: - An actual or suspected violation. - A report from a User or third party. - Legal or regulatory considerations. - Operational, security, reputational, or quality-related reasons. - Or any legitimate reason the Platform deems appropriate in its sole discretion.
5. Management's Discretionary Authority
The User acknowledges that the Platform has broad discretionary authority in managing content, accounts, opportunities, campaigns, visibility, and subscriptions, and that administrative decisions issued by the Platform, including deletion, restriction, suspension, refusal, reduction of visibility, or reclassification, may be made for legal, operational, regulatory, security, commercial, quality-related, or reputational reasons, and shall not in and of themselves give rise to any right to compensation, unless a mandatory legal obligation provides otherwise. The Platform shall also not be required to disclose the detailed internal basis for its administrative decisions where such disclosure is not legally required.
6. Reports and Complaints
Users and third parties may submit reports or complaints regarding content, accounts, conduct, rights, or violations. The Platform shall have the right to examine any report and take any action it deems appropriate, without any obligation to accept the report, respond to it, or take any specific action. Any rights holder, or a person acting on behalf of a rights holder, may submit a report concerning an alleged infringement of intellectual property rights, image rights, privacy, or any other legal right, and the Platform may take such action as it deems appropriate, including temporary or permanent removal of content, suspension of an account, or requesting supporting documents, without such action constituting a final admission of the validity of the claim.
7. Collaborations, Opportunities, and Campaigns
When using the Platform to negotiate, advertise, offer, or accept opportunities and campaigns, the User shall: - Present accurate and factual information. - Refrain from making misleading promises or false commitments. - Respect intellectual property rights, image rights, and advertising usage rights. - Comply with the laws and regulations governing advertising, marketing, disclosure, and commercial sponsorship in the relevant jurisdiction. - Bear full responsibility for the content, implementation, outcomes, and required approvals of the campaign.
8. Retention of Records and Evidence
The Platform shall have the right to retain usage records, data, communications, files, technical records, archived copies, and metadata, and to use them where necessary for legal, regulatory, security, operational, defensive, or evidentiary purposes.
9. Sanctions and Measures
Without limitation, the Platform may take one or more of the following measures: - Warning. - Restriction of certain features. - Reduction of visibility. - Blocking or takedown of content. - Temporary suspension. - Permanent suspension. - Deletion of the account. - Cancellation of the subscription or benefits. - Blocking access from certain devices or addresses. - Taking appropriate legal, contractual, or technical action.
10. Priority of this Policy
This Policy shall be interpreted together with the Terms & Conditions. In the event of any apparent conflict, the text affording greater protection to the Platform shall prevail to the extent permitted by law.
