Wyndham Hotels & Resorts on Monday launched Dolce Nova, a boutique upper-upscale extension of its meetings and events-focused Dolce Hotels & Resorts brand.
It is the first brand concept to originate from Wyndham’s EMEA team — notable for a company that has acquired 20 of its 25 brands, according to Dimitris Manikis, the company’s president for Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa.
“Why would we spend a lot of money to buy something when we actually can create an extension of the Dolce brand and introduce it to a new consumer base?” Manikis told Skift at the Annual Hospitality Conference in Manchester, where the company announced the launch.
