This year’s category winners are Carly Goldsmith in people, Andy Zakeli in places and Brooke Pyke in animals.

The full shortlists, including the top 30 images from each category, are featured in the latest issue of Australian Photography. The top 50 images from each category will be published on the Mono awards website in October 2026
