Fashion month has officially crossed the pond, and industry insiders hit London’s historic streets in looks that embody the city’s polished heritage—with a hint of edge. British Vogue’s own are delivering no shortage of chic looks, either. The magazine’s head of editorial content, Chioma Nnadi , for example, donned her signature sporty attire—with a fashionable twist, of course—while others showed off everything from new Khaite jackets to Valentino cummerbunds. Elsewhere, we spotted preppy checker-print trench coats with heeled ballet flats , flashes of royal purple and tangerine, funnel-neck jackets with simple white jeans, and a slew of statement accessories that take everyday ensembles to new heights. (Beaded pendant necklaces, sleek new handbags, and bold shield sunglasses, to name a few.) Statement skirts are also having a moment, from slinky slips to one bow-adorned Simone Rocha style, in particular. Footwear-wise, sandals in all forms are sticking around well into fall—think classic T-straps, heeled thong styles, and easy flip-flops. Pumps are still very much in, too. Our eyes—and carts—are especially drawn to a pointed-toe pick from Bottega Veneta and Toteme’s flashy zebra heels.
