Victory tour 2026: Cannes Lions trophies handed to winning entries from the UAE

Motivate Media Group and Motivate Val Morgan, the official representatives of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in the UAE, have completed their 2026 victory tour, presenting the country’s winning agencies with their trophies.

Campaigns entries from the UAE claimed 15 wins.

Campaign submissions from Saudi Arabia claimed three wins.

And a campaign entry from South Africa – with active partnership with UAE teams – won two awards.

The tour began on 20 August at Memac Ogilvy Dubai, where Chief Creative Officer Gautam Wadher and the team received the agency’s Bronze Lion in Print & Publishing for IKEA AlSulaiman’s Is That A Pinntorp?

The second stop, on 3 September, was FP7 McCann, the UAE’s most awarded agency at this year’s festival with 10 Lions. For this visit, the Motivate Val Morgan team was joined by Ian Fairservice, Chairman and CEO,

Motivate Media Group and Motivate Val Morgan, and David Fairservice, General Manager – Executive Office, Motivate Media Group. Ghassan Harfouche, Group CEO, MCN, welcomed Ian Fairservice, who addressed the team on the agency’s continued success at the festival before presenting the Lions.

They were received by CEO Tarek Miknas, alongside Managing Director Tarek Ali Ahmad, Regional Chief Creative Officer Federico Fanti, Executive Creative Director Nayaab Rais and the wider team.

The visit also celebrated the agency’s MENA Network of the Year title, which FP7 McCann received at the festival in June.

FP7 McCann’s wins included four Lions for Puck’s Recipe for Change: Silver and Bronze in Media, Bronze in Creative Strategy and Bronze in Glass: The Lion for Change. Spoor’s The Birdwatcher won three, with Silver and Bronze in Digital Craft and Bronze in Design. Parkin’s Spots for Shops took Silver and Bronze in Media, while L’Oréal Paris’s Missing Letters of Worth won Bronze in PR.
