Through my practical experience in the Gaza Strip, it has become clear to me that the quality of e-learning curricula represents the backbone for the continuity and effectiveness of the educational process in times of crises. The experience has proven that flexible, interactive, and accessible curricula even in the toughest circumstances can achieve effective learning and reduce educational loss. Investment in developing digital curricula, training teachers in electronic teaching methods, improving technical infrastructure, and providing psychological and social support to students form a comprehensive strategy to ensure the sustainability of education and the quality of educational outcomes. The experience in Gaza confirms that digital education can be successful and effective even in the midst of the toughest crises, provided that high-quality curricula and appropriate support for students and teachers are available.

The quality of e-learning curricula refers to the efficiency of designing, implementing, and assessing digital content to achieve educational objectives in a virtual learning environment, meeting learners’ needs and taking into account their different circumstances (Khasawneh, 2025).

In the Gaza Strip specifically, the concept of quality is linked to the ability of the electronic curriculum to achieve effective learning despite electricity outages, weak internet, and psychological pressures on students during times of war or quarantine (Al-Khudari, 2025).

Recent studies indicate that good electronic curricula should be designed according to integrated educational and technical standards that consider available capacities and societal constraints, which was evident in the Palestinian experience when simplified content was developed that could be accessed via mobile phones and lightweight media (Omar, 2021).

In light of the recurring crises facing the Gaza Strip, such as ongoing wars, prolonged siege, and the COVID-19 pandemic, the educational process has been continuously at risk of interruption. Experiments have proven that high-quality e-learning curricula are not just a temporary alternative, but an essential element for continuing education and achieving effective learning. They provide students with the opportunity to continue their studies flexibly, reduce educational loss, and help develop important digital skills while enabling teachers to interact with students despite environmental and technical constraints. Thus, it appears that the quality of these curricula plays a crucial role in the resilience of education and ensuring its continuity during times of crises.
