Since the Oscar-winning Once Upon a Time in Hollywood hit theaters in 2019, Tarantino has kept himself busy with books, interviews, and plans for what he once described as his final film. That milestone was initially meant to arrive in 2024 with The Movie Critic , but Quentin Tarantino famously shelved the script before production could begin, leaving fans in the dark about what could come next. But that's about to change next month.

Arriving in theaters in November, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth will finally give fans their answer by bringing back one of Tarantino's most memorable characters. Brad Pitt reprises his role as the laid-back stuntman from Tarantino’s 2019 film, stepping back into the boots of Cliff Booth for a brand-new chapter set almost a decade after his original run. Although Tarantino penned the script, he’s not actually the one holding the camera this time. Instead, David Fincher ( Seven , Fight Club ) is taking the reins, which makes the project all the more intriguing given the acclaimed director’s knack for gritty crime dramas and the darker side of Los Angeles.

Announced seemingly on a whim, the upcoming film revisits Tarantino's alternate-history version of Hollywood to explore a very different vision of the entertainment industry. With only a month left before its debut, here's everything you need to know about The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth before it lands in theaters and Netflix later this year.

Now a Hollywood fixer, Cliff uses his particular set of skills to resolve problems for powerful people, including those who aren't exactly interested in following the law. When he's not working as a bartender or projectionist, he's helping keep the industry's messier secrets from spilling into public view.

The narrative kicks off when Cliff receives an urgent call from talent agent Karen Crosby (Elizabeth Debicki), who enlists his help on behalf of her client, television star Charlie Peters (Scott Caan). Known for doing his own stunts, Charlie navigates a delicate Hollywood ecosystem shared with his wife, Toni (Carla Gugino), and ex-pro-footballer star Roderick "Hot Rod" Harrison (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). Meanwhile, the Verdusco brothers, a pair of gangsters played by Matt Groove and JB Tadena, bring their own brand of trouble to the proceedings.

Pitt returns in the role that ear…
