BSB Knockhill: Kyle Ryde secures third pole of the 2026 season

Kyle Ryde extended his 100% qualifying record in the 2026 British Superbike Championship by securing pole position at Knockhill.

Ryde had work to do in the closing stages of qualifying but, as always, remained calm and put the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducati on pole with a 47.260. It’s Ryde’s third pole of the season.

Storm Stacey will line-up alongside Ryde with Scott Redding completing a Ducati lockout on the front row onboard the Hager PBM machine.

Bradley Ray will start his 200 th BSB race from fourth on the grid and will be joined on the second row by Rory Skinner and Max Cook. Skinner crashed at the final corner with just under three minutes remaining in the session, whilst Cook crashed at turn one whilst sitting at the top of the timesheets with just under nine minutes remaining.

Ryan Vickers heads row three for Honda Racing UK ahead of Glenn Irwin and Lee Jackson, with Christian Iddon completing the top 10.

Danny Kent qualified 11 th but went down at the final corner in the closing seconds of the session. Leon Haslam, Josh Brookes, Joe Talbot and Charlie Nesbitt complete the top 15.

Ilya Mikhalchik was the best of the rest in Q1 and will therefore start the opening race of the weekend form 16 th on the grid. The Ukrainian will be joined on the sixth row by Jason O’Halloran and Richard Kerr.

Fraser Rogers, who claimed an emotional maiden BSB podium at Knockhill last season, heads row seven for TAG Honda. Rookie teammates Rhys Irwin and Eugene McManus qualified 20 th and 21 st respectively.

Luke Hedger, Graeme Irwin and Brayden Elliot complete the grid for Race One, which is due to begin at 16:00.
