Michał Nowakowski, the co-CEO of CD Projekt Red, pointed out that the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 is still affecting the studio's reputation to this day, explaining that some players have permanently lost trust in the company after the major issues at launch. However, he emphasized that the studio hopes to gradually restore this trust through its upcoming projects, most notably The Witcher 4.
Nowakowski added that the company still sees itself in a phase of rebuilding trust, noting that the current goal is to deliver more stable and quality games that restore player trust. He also explained that CD Projekt Red is working on a long-term plan to accelerate game development using the Unreal Engine 5 instead of its previous technologies, focusing on improving the quality of experience rather than relying on quick releases.
