Media personality Rimeh Darbas called to “lift the injustice” against artist Fadl Shaker, following reports indicating the decline in his health.
Darbas posted a picture of Shaker on her Instagram account, saying: “When I expressed my admiration for the idea of him appearing in his works with sunglasses, he replied: “Rimeh, these aren’t sunglasses; they’re medical glasses, I have diabetes, and I can’t see well, and people think it’s style, but the truth is my vision isn’t helping me.”
She added: “As if it is not enough that Fadl Shaker had his years stolen from him and lost due to the absence of justice... to be left behind bars for diabetes to steal his sight. It is time to lift the injustice against Fadl Shaker.”
