Missions That Everyone Suffered From in the GTA Series and Are Still the Toughest to This Day (Part 2)

The Grand Theft Auto series is filled with unforgettable missions; in the end, Rockstar needs to fill its massive open worlds with things to do, and one of the best ways to deliver extra content is through new missions. Unfortunately, it seems that some of these missions are designed against the players, as they are nearly impossible to complete on the first try, and some will even baffle veteran players.

Here are five of the hardest missions in GTA's long history.

There is a series of missions missing from this list, which is the pilot's license test in GTA: San Andreas. These missions are essential for completing the game and teach you just how tough it is to handle San Andreas while flying. It’s a challenging task, but because it’s a series of missions and not a standalone task, I haven’t included it here.

Fortunately, the Demolition Man mission comes to take this “nasty” title. This mission puts you in an RC helicopter, which can be even worse to control than the real thing, especially when you consider that Rockstar had another game to refine controls between this mission and the pilot test. You have to place several bombs around a construction site while workers try to take you down. Worse still, there are no checkpoints, so if you fail, you have to restart the mission from the beginning.

The good news for the Demolition Man mission is that it’s not the worst mission in the series. That title is reserved for the Supply Lines mission, which is an optional mission in San Andreas. You have to help your good friend Zero using, what else, an RC plane.

This time, you have to take down moving targets with a plane that behaves like it’s moving through jelly. Once the mission starts, your five targets begin moving. You have a limited amount of fuel, so you need to master the art of gliding to ensure you hit every target and return to base. Doing so without a guide has broken many who have tried. The only saving grace is that it’s not required to complete the story, but if you want to achieve 100% completion in your save file, you’ll have to endure this absurd challenge.

I always look for a good story, well-crafted scenario, and exciting dramatic plot in any video game, and I don't mind delving into competitive games with innovative and exciting ideas.
