GTA 6 is enjoying unprecedented media momentum, and Rockstar Games has taken a new step in its marketing campaign by revealing the prices of the various editions on the official game website, alongside confirming the existence of more than one version of the game.
However, one notable detail appeared in the description of the Ultimate Edition, where Rockstar Games clarified that the exclusive rewards for this version will be gradually unlocked through various story chapters in GTA 6.
This may suggest that GTA 6's campaign will adopt a chapter-based system, similar to that of Red Dead Redemption 2, which could mean a narrative experience divided into several chapters, each containing its own missions, heists, and key events.
Rockstar Games clarified that the additional elements specific to the Ultimate Edition will be available in each chapter of the game, which some consider an indication that the structure of the story will be similar to what we saw in Red Dead Redemption 2.
For comparison, the campaign of Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most critically acclaimed stories in video game history, and the chapter system played a significant role in giving each phase of the game a distinct identity, preventing events from overlapping or losing impact as the story progressed.
If GTA 6 follows the same approach, each phase of the story is expected to present a different set of missions, heists, and dramatic moments, giving each chapter a unique character.
Additionally, Rockstar Games has released more than 60 new images for GTA 6, showcasing extensive customization options, various scenes from Vice City, and the two main protagonists at different stages of the story, along with many other details.
The base version of the game will be priced at $80, while the Ultimate Edition will reach $100. As for the physical version, it will not include a disc but will only contain a code to download the game.
As the marketing campaign continues, Rockstar Games is also expected to reveal the next teaser for the game in the upcoming period.
