The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry announced today the companies providing Japanese content that will receive government support under the IP360 program aimed at reaching 20 trillion yen in content sales by 2033, including video games.
Koei Tecmo was among the gaming companies that received support for its entirely new project tentatively named FUJI, which the company aims to achieve global success with, leveraging its experience in delivering Eastern-themed games and action games.
Other companies include Konami, which is working on a massive project targeted at both the Japanese and global markets, and Arc System Works, which is developing a fighting game under a completely new title.
