The volume balance and visual horizon extension surpass the spatial constraints traditional small homes experience, reframing proportion through stable dimensions of 47 feet in length and 17 feet in width. This generous width breaks the usual longitudinal pattern, granting the internal space a horizontal depth that alters the user's sensory perception, transitioning them from a feeling of "constriction" to a feeling of "expansion". The external massing is based on a design language inspired by Scandinavian chalets, where wooden cladding integrates with a metal roof and a covered front porch to form a cohesive mass with a sober character that interacts with its surroundings, moving away from the temporary appearance of prefabricated units.
