Last year, it was Swift celebrating her friend’s “I do.” Now, the roles have reversed, with Gomez there to support the singer at what was, without question, the wedding of the year (with apologies to Dua Lipa and Callum Turner ).
For such a special occasion, there was little doubt about Gomez’s designer of choice: Oscar de la Renta. Both stars frequently wear the American fashion house on the red carpet, so naturally, they also chose it for each other’s weddings. Fans may remember the floral appliqué gown by Oscar de la Renta that Swift wore for Gomez’s lavish ceremony in Santa Barbara.
After slipping on a black lace Oscar de la Renta dress for Swift’s rehearsal dinner on Thursday, Gomez opted for a much brighter look on Friday night: a champagne-colored column gown from the house’s pre-fall 2026 collection, intricately embroidered with geometric glass beads and crystals. A rounded neckline and delicate straps added structure to the fitted silhouette, while the skirt was finished with shimmering chain fringe that caught the light with every step.

Soo Park created her fresh, radiant, but understated makeup look entirely with Rare Beauty products, allowing the gown to remain the undisputed focal point. Tom Bachik, meanwhile, was behind Gomez’s clean, nude manicure.
Beyond tapping the same designer, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez also appeared to agree on one key style detail: color. Champagne served as the common thread between their wedding guest looks at each other’s celebrations. The elegant shade evokes the sparkling toasts that define occasions like these, making it a fitting symbol of celebration in its own right.
Two lifelong friends, two weddings just a year apart, and one shared way of celebrating life’s most meaningful milestones: standing by each other’s side and dressing to dazzle in a way only they can. Long live love!
