Former Miss Lebanon Maya Raidy ignored the news of her separation from her husband, businessman Sherif Fahmy Kragolla, about two years after their marriage.
Maya recently posted a video on her Instagram account expressing her love for her country Lebanon.

She wrote a comment on her post: “Every time I speak openly about something I thought was personal and private, I discover that many of you have felt it too. If you haven't seen it yet, 'Ghasseh' is the short video that precedes this post. We shot it at the beginning of this year, and here are some clips from that day.”

Maya added: “Growing up between different countries, cultures, and languages opened up vast doors for me to experience various ways of thinking, expressing, and feeling. But from time to time, you encounter a word that feels bigger than the language itself. And for me, that word has always been 'Ghasseh'. It’s a feeling that has accompanied me as long as I can remember. I felt it in friendships, relationships, career choices, at airports, during goodbyes, and in all those moments when life seems stuck between what is and what could have been.”
She continued: “But if I wanted to be completely honest... the biggest source of this feeling has always been Lebanon. To love a place this deeply, while constantly being torn between staying and leaving, between hope and disappointment, between belonging and longing. I never expected that one word would resonate with so many people, but your messages reminded me that some feelings transcend everyone, and they are truly shared human emotions. This was not just a short video about a word, but my attempt to give a feeling a face.”
The ‘Aghani Aghani’ channel revealed that the divorce between Maya and her husband happened quietly away from the spotlight, without any official announcement or comment from either party so far.
Maya got married in the summer of 2024 in Greece to the young Fahmy Kragolla, who is the son of Mrs. Sahar Toynbee from her ex-husband businessman Kareem Kragolla in a wedding described as the 'wedding of the season'.
Maya was crowned Miss Lebanon in 2018, and she currently lives in London.
