Lebanon ranked eighth globally among countries with the most favorable climates for living, according to the ‘Numbeo Climate Index’ for 2026.
The index revealed the list of the top 10 countries distinguished by the best climate for 2026.
Uruguay topped the list as the best country in terms of climate quality with a score of 98.3 points, followed by Portugal in second place and Malta in third place, each with a score of 97.8 points.
The list clearly dominated by countries with moderate climates, where New Zealand came in fourth, followed by South Africa in fifth place, and Argentina and Chile in sixth and seventh places, respectively.
According to the data, two Arab countries successfully secured their spots in the global top ten, with Lebanon ranked eighth globally with a score of 94.7 points, while Tunisia came in tenth globally with a score of 94.3 points, right after Ecuador, which ranked ninth with a score of 94.5 points.
