In the context of the ongoing monitoring carried out by the Internal Security Forces to pursue those involved in drug-related crimes and arrest them, and to limit this scourge, a report relating to the arrest of an individual for drug trafficking was referred to the Central Drug Enforcement Bureau of the Judicial Police.
As a result of the investigations and inquiries carried out by the bureau’s personnel, it was found that two other individuals were involved in drug trafficking activities.
Immediately, as a result of monitoring and surveillance, one of the bureau's patrols was able to identify the residence of the first suspect in the Borj Hammoud area, where they conducted a raid that resulted in the arrest of the suspect, who is named:
He is wanted under two arrest warrants for attempted murder and money laundering.
In parallel, another patrol raided the residence of the second suspect in the Tabarja area, arrested him, and his name is:
During the investigation, he confessed to facilitating prostitution activities, and he was arrested for the benefit of the Human Trafficking and Moral Protection Bureau to conduct the necessary legal procedures against him.
The work is still ongoing to arrest the remaining suspects, under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
