Today, the games Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II have been made available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 through ported versions aimed at providing these unique experiences for devices unable to run them due to the lack of backward compatibility.
Some have questioned whether the Nintendo Switch will receive either game, but it seems that there are no plans for this version according to well-known leaker Charlie Intel, and the plan is limited to PlayStation devices. This is surprising given Microsoft's previous expression of intent to support the Switch with titles from the series and the fact that this year's release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is planned for release on the Switch 2.
