According to Rhys Elliott, an analyst at Alinea Analytics, the remake of Assassin's Creed Black Flag has sold over 701,000 copies through the digital Steam store with revenues reaching around $35.1 million, generating about an additional million dollars in revenue from DLC sales that have been the cause of much criticism for Ubisoft.
As we know, the game broke the 2 million copy barrier a day after its release, and according to Elliott, the performance of this remake on Steam represents the best launch of any game in the series on the popular digital store.
