A horrific accident occurred on the road from Faitroun to Mirouba at the intersection of Wata al-Joz, resulting in the death of a citizen from the town of Harajil and several injuries, including the son of Teddy Rahme. The Civil Defense and the Red Cross worked to transport the injured to hospitals. It is worth noting that daily accidents occur on this road without action from the Ministry of Public Works and those responsible, and many deaths and injuries have occurred over the years without seeing any fundamental solution. The Keserouan Youth Platform had contacted the relevant municipalities and was met by the mayor of Faitroun, Engineer Rami Rizk, who proposed an engineering project in the hope that it would be met with a receptive ear at the Ministry of Public Works.
