Scott Redding secured his fourth win of the 2026 British Superbike Championship season after withstanding late-race pressure from Kyle Ryde in Race 3 at Brands Hatch.
Redding made a great start from the second row and controlled the majority of the race brilliantly, including having to regroup after a safety car period. Ryde , who was crowned the ITS King of Brands 100, put the pressure on in the closing stages, but didn’t get close enough to launch an attack.
As a result, Ryde leaves Brands Hatch with an advantage of 19 points over Redding, who now has finished on the podium in each of the last 12 races. Ryde extends his 100% podium record in 2026 with 15 appearances from 15 races.
Max Cook once again completed the podium for AJN Steelstock Bimota . Cook has now finished on the podium in each of the last four races he’s finished. Two further podiums were on the cards at Snetterton , but Cook’s hopes were dashed due to technical problems with his KB998 .
Leon Haslam ended his weekend on a positive note in fourth, with Glenn Irwin also enjoying his best result of the meeting in fifth.
Ryan Vickers and Rory Skinner finished sixth and seventh respectively, with Bradley Ray once again down in eighth. Danny Kent and Joe Talbot completed the top 10.
Lee Jackson came out on top in a battle with Jason O’Halloran to finish 11 th , whilst Ilya Mikhalchik, Storm Stacey and Luke Hedger claimed the final points available in the race.
Josh Brookes returned to the pits at the end of the opening lap and retired from the race, whilst Fraser Rogers did the same at the end of lap three.
The safety car was released on lap six following a crash for Brayden Elliot at Stirlings, before Graeme Irwin crashed out at the same corner on lap nine.
Moments later, Christian Iddon retired with a technical problem on his SENCAT Racing Yamaha R1.
