Independent agency BarkleyOKRP has named Brandon Cooke its next global chief marketing and growth officer, the agency told ADWEEK. The former FCB CMO succeeds Jason Parks, who was in the role for nearly three decades before announcing his retirement.

Cooke’s role is firmly centered around helping clients, with the head of client experience reporting directly to him, CEO Katy Hornaday told ADWEEK. She said Cooke will have a full view to chart “thoughtful” growth for the agency.

Cooke joins BarkleyOKRP’s integrated leadership team, meaning that in addition to overseeing client growth, he will also look for growth opportunities for the tech platforms the agency is developing.
