In fact, Disney has announced that Toy Story 5 fans can look forward to the film appearing on today's most premium physical media format, with a 4K Blu-ray release scheduled to hit stores on September 22. Just over a month after the film’s August 18 debut on digital streaming platforms including Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home.
As has become common practice for Disney in the US, the only Toy Story 5 4K Blu-ray option will be a limited edition 4K SteelBook – so if you’re keen on getting one, I’d recommend getting your order in soon.
The 4K Blu-ray production will carry the film mastered in 4K resolution (the film was granted a 4K digital intermediate for its cinematic release) in the premium Dolby Vision HDR format.
