I thought the multi-directional ceiling light shining onto my U-shaped, three-computer workstation was an ideal arrangement. The Quntis light bar convinced me that bright overhead lighting is not always the best choice for either ambiance or productivity.
This LED (light-emitting diode) light bar uses a textured light-diffusing cover and hood to direct illumination toward the desk while minimizing light on the screen and in my eyes. It has reduced the discomfort I experience during long hours staring at monitors and adjusting screen brightness.

I did not expect the 16.7-inch light bar to fit my dual-monitor setup so easily. It balances nicely on my 14- and 16-inch laptop screens. But I thought using it across my nearly 60-inch-wide dual-monitor setup would be a stretch too far.
I centered the light bar across the top where the two monitors meet. My monitors are angled slightly, with their outer edges pitched forward. An adjustable rear support and counterweight keep the light bar balanced in place.
The light bar sits securely on either a single monitor or, in my case, across two monitors without requiring a clamp. The included USB cable has a Type-C connector that plugs into the back of the light bar and a Type-A connector that plugs into a computer or other USB power source.
I particularly like the separate wireless controller. Many light bars put touch controls on the bar itself, so reaching up to make an adjustment can knock the lamp out of alignment. The Quntis controller sits on the desk, letting me make changes without touching the light bar.
The control puck controls power, brightness, and color temperature. I can select warm 3000K lighting for evening work or cooler 6500K daylight tones for daytime use by tapping the illuminated controls on the wireless controller.
