The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Venture Business both charge a $95 annual fee and earn 2 miles per dollar spent on everyday purchases, making them remarkably similar at first glance.

However, the two cards are best suited for different types of cardholders. The Venture Rewards is the better choice for most individual travelers, while the Venture Business is better suited to business owners who can take advantage of its annual credits and business perks.

Let's take a closer look at how the Venture Rewards and Venture Business compare, including their welcome offers, benefits and earning structures.

Annual fee $95 $95 Welcome offer Earn 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 on purchases within the first three months from account opening. Earn 100,000 bonus miles after spending $10,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. Authorized user/employee card fee $0 $0 Quick picks by traveler type Best for Card Travelers who want a simple card for everyday spending Venture Rewards Travelers who want a lower spending requirement for a large welcome bonus Venture Rewards Business owners who can use advertising or software expenses Venture Business Businesses that issue cards to employees Venture Business Venture Rewards vs. Venture Business: Welcome bonus New Venture Rewards cardholders can earn 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 on purchases within the first three months from account opening. According to TPG's August 2026 valuations , which value Capital One miles at 1.85 cents apiece, this bonus is worth $1,388.

New Venture Business cardholders, on the other hand, can earn 100,000 bonus miles after spending $10,000 on purchases within the first three months from account opening. At TPG's current valuation, that's $1,850 in value.

The Venture Business, therefore, offers $462 more in potential value from its welcome bonus. But you'll need to spend $6,000 more than you would with the Venture Rewards to earn it.

That makes the Venture Rewards the more accessible option for someone whose normal spending won't easily reach $10,000 in three months. On the other hand, if your business regularly puts $10,000 or more in expenses on a credit card, the Venture Business's larger bonus is compelling.

Keep in mind that Capital One requires prospective cardholders to wait six months between Capital One card applications, so time your application accordingly. Additionally, if you've previously received either card's welcome offer, you have to wait 48 months to be approved for the card and receive the bonus again .

Winner: Venture Business. The 100,000-mile bonus is more valuable, but the Venture Rewards wins on accessibility thanks to its much lower spending requirement.
