Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone picks RICH as marketing partner

Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has chosen Dubai-based outsourced marketing agency RICH as its marketing partner.

RICH will support RAKEZ across its integrated marketing activity, covering strategic direction and creative development alongside digital campaigns, content, video production and broader marketing communications.

The remit is broad, spanning strategic both direction and day-to-day delivery across the organisation’s marketing activities.

One of the UAE’s leading economic zones, RAKEZ is home to more than 50,000 companies. It supports entrepreneurs, SMEs and multinational organisations operating across more many industries.

Ahmad Numan, Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications at RAKEZ , said, “ At RAKEZ, we’re committed to building meaningful connections with entrepreneurs, investors, and businesses around the world. As our marketing ambitions continue to grow, it was important for us to partner with an agency that combines strategic thinking with strong execution.”

Numan added, “RICH demonstrated a clear understanding of our vision, and we’re looking forward to working together to further strengthen the RAKEZ brand and showcase the value we bring to the global business community.”

For RICH, the appointment adds one of the UAE’s major economic development organisations to a portfolio that has grown quickly across the region.

Mike Rich , Founder and CEO of RICH , said, “RAKEZ is a business we’ve wanted to work with for a long time, so being appointed as its marketing partner means a great deal to us. We’re grateful for the trust the team has placed in RICH and excited about what we can build together.”

Rich added, “RAKEZ plays a pivotal role in helping businesses from around the world gain a foothold and grow in the UAE. Our job is to make that story work harder and make the marketing earn its keep. That starts with understanding the commercial objective behind the brief and staying accountable for what the work delivers. We’re looking forward to working closely with the team and contributing to what comes next.”

The appointment also puts RICH’s outsourced marketing model firmly into practice. Marketing outsourcing gives businesses access to experienced marketing leadership without requiring them to build every capability internally.

At RICH, there is no conventional account management layer between the client and the people leading the work. Senior marketing managers deal directly with clients. They help set the direction, stay close to the business and remain responsible for how the work is carried through. Specialist teams are then brought in where the brief calls for them, giving clients senior consultancy alongside the practical capability of an in-house marketing department.

Over the past year, RICH has grown significantly across the UAE, with clients spanning government, property, automotive and healthcare, as well as sectors including technology, hospitality and professional services.

Its capabilities extend from brand and marketing strategy into social media, digital advertising, content and production. The wider offering also includes web development, public relations, events, marketing automation, and AI and technology development.

It is a deliberately different agency structure. Senior marketers stay close to the client, while specialist expertise sits close enough to the work to move quickly.
