The gummy business is booming. No, not that kind.
Globally, gummy supplement sales are expected to hit $40.06 billion by 2031, per research firm Mordor Intelligence . The surge is being driven by a wider ‘wellness economy’ boom, as consumers’ focus on preventive healthcare and mental wellbeing has unlocked a $6.3 trillion industry .
In line with this, people are changing how they think about supplements, said Logan Chierotti, co-founder and CEO of gut-health supplement brand Physician’s Choice. While supplements were previously marketed like medicine, “now they’re positioned more like skincare: a daily habit where the ritual or experience of your stack matters as much as the formulation and the science.”
