Marketing rainmakers rarely go without jobs for very long, and Tariq Hassan is no exception.
After stepping down from his post as chief marketing and customer experience officer for McDonald’s in January 2025, Hassan has landed at Wendy’s as chief marketing and customer growth officer. He will report to CEO Bob Wright.
In a company statement, Wright hailed Hassan’s “ability to connect culture, technology, and consumer insight to drive measurable growth.” He called his arrival “another meaningful step in returning Wendy’s to profitable growth.”
Hassan has his ear to the rail when it comes to merging fast food with culture.
