The single most valuable benefit of the Venture X is its up to $300 annual travel credit .

Every year you have the card, starting with your first year, you get up to $300 in credits to put toward things like airfare, hotel bookings and car rentals. The only condition is that you have to book your travel through Capital One Travel.

If you already spend at least $300 on travel each year and are comfortable booking through Capital One Travel, this benefit can offset a significant portion of the card's $395 annual fee.

Capital One miles are a very dynamic type of travel rewards currency. You can redeem them at a value of one cent apiece for bookings made through Capital One Travel, or apply them as a statement credit toward travel purchases you make with your Venture X card within 90 days.

TPG's August 2026 valuations tag the value of Capital One miles at 1.85 cents apiece, largely because you can transfer them to 15+ airline and hotel partners, including Air Canada Aeroplan , Air France-KLM Flying Blue and Accor Live Limitless.

If you're willing to learn these programs and search for award availability, the Venture X can be a strong fit.
