Bradley Ray produced another stunning British Superbike Championship Superpole qualifying performance at Cadwell Park to take pole position.
Ray was the last rider to enter the circuit for his lap after topping the free practice sessions on Saturday and put together a 1:25.361 to knock Rory Skinner off top spot. It’s Ray’s second pole of the 2026 season.
Skinner had held provisional pole position for the majority of the session after great final sector led to him posting the first 1:25 lap of the day (1:25.757).
Championship leader Kyle Ryde bounced back from a little crash in FP3 to complete the front row. More importantly, Ryde’s title rival Scott Redding has been struggling so far this weekend and could only manage 10 th on the grid. Given how hard it is to overtake at Cadwell Park, this could be a hammer blow to Redding’s title aspirations.
Storm Stacey heads row two ahead of Leon Haslam and rookie Joe Talbot, with the latter continuing to impress on his first visit to Cadwell as a Superbike rider.
Ryan Vickers may have hoped for more in seventh after his stunning double victory at Thruxton . The Honda Racing UK rider will be joined on the third row by Christian Iddon and the returning Max Cook.
Local fan favourites Jason O’Halloran and Lee Jackson qualified 11 th and 12 th respectively ahead of Glenn Irwin, Ilya Mikhalchik and Josh Brookes.
Danny Kent missed out on a Superpole spot by a mere 0.081s and will start the opening race from 16 th on the grid. He’ll be joined on row six by the returning Danny Buchan, who is back in BSB with MET fonaCAB Racing Ducati whilst Andrew Irwin continues his recovery from a fractured right humerus .
Fraser Rogers completes the sixth row, whilst row seven will consist of Charlie Nesbitt, Rhys Irwin and Eugene McManus. The returning Luke Hedger qualified 22 nd .
Brayden Elliot pulled off the circuit with a technical problem during Q1, whilst Richard Kerr crashed at the chicane. The pair will start Race One, which is due to begin at 16:15, from the back of the grid.
