After a decade with the Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown’s career suddenly looks very different.

The five-time NBA All-Star was abruptly traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in July, an unceremonious send-off for a player who had helped deliver the franchise a championship in 2024 and earned a Finals MVP distinction in the process.

As Brown attempted to adjust to his new surroundings, the transition was made more surreal by the addition of LeBron James, a superstar in the twilight of his career who joined the team following a summer of speculatory frenzy.
